Partner – Eric Laut

Eric Laut is a member of the Paris (2004) and New York (2009) bars. After beginning his career at Sullivan & Cromwell’s Paris office in mergers & acquisitions and stock market law (2004-2008), he joined the litigation and international arbitration team of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton’s Paris office (2008-2013).

He advises French and foreign companies in disputes relating to business law, in particular corporate law, M&A transactions and commercial contracts, as well as in bankruptcy matters, before national courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. He has also acted for foreign States and foreign public companies in international arbitration and French enforcement proceedings.

Eric holds a Magistère de Juriste d’Affaires –DJCE degree from Université Paris II (2002), an MBA from ESSEC (2005) and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School (2006).
